I began my studies for Social Psychology at Park University in Parkville, Missouri, before graduating at the top of my class from Ross University School of Medicine. As a medical student, I served my clinical clerkship under the supervision of doctors with the renowned institutions of SUNY Downstate and affiliates of Weill Cornell Medical Center Healthcare Network. I completed my internship and residency training in Psychiatry at The Kansas University Medical Center, and finished my sub-specialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine of Houston, Texas. During my rotations at Texas Children’s Hospital, I was awarded a certificate of recognition for providing lectures to parents of children with special needs.
